Equipment: Any Kiloview Encoder/Decoder

Introduction: After reading this article, you should be able to set up and Kiloview encoder/decoder.

Initial Setup: Make sure the computer and Kiloview are located on the same network. Ensure the encoder/decoder has power and an assigned IP of some sort that is not 0.0.0.0. If necessary, plug the computer directly into the device and use Angry IP to identify the IP Address.

Resolve The Problem:

1. Verify you have the correct model for your device
   1. General NDI should be N3-s. NDI-HX should be N5.
2. Once you Verify, Grab the IP via the workbook.
   1. username and password are located in the workbook as well
3. Log in with the correct Credentials
4. If On Encode, check bitrate and settings to make sure they line up to Encode.
5. If need to Decode, Click on Decode and find the correct device to decode
6. Once you find the correct device to Decode, Click on it and set it to preset 1.
7. Use the Kiloview multimedia player to confirm the feed.
