Replacing a module

Here are the steps to replacing a failed module with a new spare.  Note: data in the LED cabinets pass from right to left.  Always start by replacing the module on the farthest right.

STEP 1:Bring supplies with you (modules, ribbon cables, screw driver, T-Tool/Alen key set)

STEP 2: Remove the module.  This step will depend on your module model.  There will either be (12) philips head screws that remove all the way, (16) hex screws that turn until you hear a click, or (2) 1/4 turnable hex screws

STEP 3: once pulled out, disconnect the two data connections (ribbon cables), and one power connection (typically in the center of the module)

STEP 4: Connect your new module (Ribbon and power).  Pay attention to the direction and make sure you replace with the arrow facing up

STEP 5: Screw back into place.  Tighten ALL points
